Kids LOVE Character Rocks!--For Kids, and so do parents and teachers!  We call it SUPER FUN MUSIC FOR KIDS.  Who should use it?  Anyone working with children.  Kids dance to the message,  and their joyful response retains that message deep into Long Term Memory.  It's a powerful combination. 

Dan Duncan, (creator of Character Rocks!--For Kids), has been teaching music (k-12) for 24 years.  He is also a professional musician, (trumpet, piano, guitar, vocals), arranger, recording engineer, and songwriter.  A very diversified teaching experience has given him a unique understanding of "what makes kids tick."  Character Rocks!--For Kids" is his caring, (and exciting) response.

Mr. Duncan has been an active supporter of children and was privileged to serve as an expert witness for the S.A.F.E. Committee, (Michigan Senate), on two separate occasions working with State Senator Dale Shugars concerning safety in schools, and violence/lyric content.

Dan was trained as a "classical" musician, but can often be found playing lead trumpet in numerous radio/television commercials and jazz orchestras.  He has performed with many "stars" such as:  The Temptations, Jerry Lewis, Bobby Vinton, Bob Newhart, Shirley Jones, The Stars of Lawrence Welk, and jazz greats Kenny Wheeler, and Randy Brecker.  He has also performed as principal/soloist (trumpet) with the Grand Rapids Symphony, and was recently recorded on the Hosanna/Integrity releases, "New Season," and "Cover the Earth."  His most recent trumpet recording was "Great Things."  You can listen in at www.kenreynolds.com.  Dan has a range exceeding double c on the trumpet.  He is available for trumpet clinics as well as character presentations.  For more info simply write us at info@characterrocks.com. 

When Dan isn't practicing, performing, or composing songs for kids, he enjoys outdoor activities, and fishing the Great Lakes in the beautiful state of Michigan.  Dan loves meeting and working with people, and he credits the children he teaches, his colleagues, and family, as the inspiration for his music.
